Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Journey Lead All-Star New York City Concert in August

A galaxy of talent has been announced for 'We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert,' set for Aug. 21, 2021 on the Great Lawn of Central Park.

New York City's mayor, Bill de Blasio, and music executive Clive Davis announced the details of the event today (July 27), intended to celebrate New York's resilience amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets will be free and released in batches daily from Aug. 2-7. VIP tickets will also be available for purchase from July 29-Aug. 1. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry. (For those not in the New York City area, it'll be broadcast live on CNN.) Additional details will be released here.
