The wait for Unity gets only a little bit longer.
New Order and Pet Shop Boys' hotly-anticipated Unity Tour of North America has been pushed back to the fall of 2022, both bands announced this week. The move was, unsurprisingly, attributed to "continuing uncertainty caused by the COVID pandemic."

The groups had planned the trek for the fall of 2020 - announced just before the pandemic began shutdowns around the Western hemisphere - and later moved the dates to the autumn of 2021. But in bringing their set to the U.S. and Canada in September and October 2022, they've been able to add a support act (DJ sets by Paul Oakenfold) and two additional shows: a second New York show at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and a rearranged gig in the state of Washington, moving from The Gorge Amphitheatre to Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena.
