To commemorate what would marked Prince's 62nd birthday Sunday, Prince's estate has unveiled a music video for Prince's 2015 song "Baltimore" and a handwritten message denouncing racial intolerance.

The new lyric video for the protest song highlights the mantra of the ongoing Black Live Matter protests around the country with Prince's protest-inspired message, "If there ain't no justice, then there ain't no peace."

Prince recorded the Freddie Gray tribute song in response to the civil unrest of the nation following the death of Gray in April that year at the hands of police custody.

“With everything going on there this week, I had a lot I needed to get out,” Prince expressed in a 2015 Rolling Stone interview.

The Prince Estate also shared a handwritten note from the Purple King, in which he penned a pressing message, "Nothing more ugly in the whole wide world than intolerance [between] black, white, red, yellow, boy or girl. Intolerance.”

Protests across the nation continue in the wake of George Floyd's death. All Minneapolis officers involved have been arrested and the City Council recently shared its pledge to dismantle the city's police department.
