Over on Twitch, the lineup will be an impressive collection of artists, including Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of Petty's Heartbreakers, Adam Sandler, Beck, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, the Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, Gary Clark, Jr., Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson, Norah Jones, Roger McGuinn, Spoon, Stephen Stills, and Susanna Hoffs (among many more).
Among those scheduled to make special guest appearances are Eddie Vedder, Jakob Dylan, Jimmy Iovine, Kiefer Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz, Marty Stuart, Olivia Harrison, Post Malone, Rick Rubin, and Stevie Nicks.
Proceeds from the show are earmarked for three charities: Save Our Stages, which is helping venues struggling to survive during Covid-19; Arts in Medicine, a Gainseville, Florida, organization; Digitunity, which is trying to make technology more accessible; and MusiCares, which provides critical assistance to musicians and others in the music industry.
